…on moments shared.
Communal meals, exchanged conversations, artistic and professional debates, inspired creative thoughts, new friendships, wine and bread. All these moments topped with the gleeful, joyful chaos-making of children in the midst. This past weekend was full: triple gallery openings and a shared exhibition opening feast on the downtown Kelowna concrete on Friday, celebrating birthdays on Saturday, and an unexpected downward climb (complete with cliff jumping!) at Knox Mountain, followed by a communal dinner at Platypus house, on Sunday.
This Monday morning, at our weekly debrief, a departing colleague closed his part of our circle with a poignant comment that the group had provided him with support and courage.
Gratitude.
